Kirk Communications, Launches New E-Commerce Site for Coffee Retailer

New site allows for faster transactions and more revenue
Portsmouth, N.H. – December 8, 2010 –Kirk Communications (www.kirkcommunications.com), an interactive agency today announced the launch of New Hampshire Coffee’s newest e-commerce site. The site was built using PHP and a MySQL database and Apache server utilizing an OS Commerce platform for a shopping cart. In addition, Paypal was integrated as payment gateway. The new site will help New Hampshire Coffee capture more of the online market and also expand its pod offerings to customers.

Starting with a list of requirements, the Kirk Team worked with New Hampshire Coffee to develop a site architecture that would significantly increase the number of sales and speed up the time spent on the site. “Our old e-commerce site was complicated and users had to go through multiple screen to get to checkout. Working with the Kirk team we were able to develop a streamlined solution that makes it possible to check out in three easy steps.” Said Bill Coneys, CEO of New Hampshire Coffee.

The architecture also supports a CMS system that allows the team at New Hampshire Coffee to quickly and easily make changes to the products and pricing tiers. This saves the client time and money and gives them the ability to instantly react to the marketplace.
