In a video hangout on Google+ with Google’s John Mueller, John shared they are working on speeding up the algorithm so it refreshes faster. John also admitted that Google’s algorithms don’t always reflect the changes webmasters make to improve their sites in a “reasonable time,” specifically around Penguin.
At 34 minutes and 32 seconds into the video, he said:
• Google is working on a “solution that generally refreshes faster” specifically talking about Penguin.
• He said “we are trying to speed things up” around Penguin.
• He also admitted that “our algorithms don’t reflect that [webmasters efforts to clean up the issues around their sites being impacted by Penguin] in a reasonable time.”
